Genetic-testing company 23andMe finally has provided an update on their problems with the US Fod and Drug Administration (FDA). As you may remember in November 2013 the FDA stopped 23andMe from providing health-related reports from their DNA tests as the FDA was unhappy with the scientific research behind the reports. The update actually adds little to what’s already known. It re-affirms the statement by 23andME CEO and co-founder Anne Wojcicki “My main priority is resolution with the FDA” but emphases that 23andMe “don’t know how long that process might take”.
